I find this type of build far more satisfying than the CNC cut models, nice to see free hand building is still alive, good work Maxime

Think you, for me too, the handwork is more satisfying.
I will post more photos at the end of the day, I've finished the body.
I'm now waiting for the neck's wood, and for the second wood of the body.

Reminds me of my second build, which is on the website, drawing it out on the wood...

You have made a great start, and some very nice neat work cutting the chambers out with the router.
Great work I look forward to seeing your project develop as this is what this Forum is about.

That's a bit insulting Peter. You even bought a CNC machine! Should I not bother posting updates on my progress any more if it's not "satisfying"?

Either way Doug, we all have different skill sets from CAD, design, eye for detail ect...

I wouldn't take it as insulting, and lets please not take anything away from Maxime and his build, there is always a Private messaging system you can use to settle a small difference of opinion. :)

cheers

Now the 2 parts of the body are done. Next step, I'll join the 2 parts to see if my work is good.
